Exam Information

WBJEE Exam Centres 2019: The exam centres of WBJEE 2019 are the venues where the offline exam will be conducted. Candidates appearing in the state-level exam have to enter their choice of WBJEE 2019 exam centre at the time of filling the application form. Depending on whether the candidate belongs to - (1) West Bengal, Assam and Tripura, or (2) other states – the candidate will have to pick any three zones from the available options. The exam centre of WBJEE 2019 entered by the candidate must be in the order of preference. Based on the options entered by the candidate, the WBJEE board will allocate exam centres. It must be noted that it is at the discretion of the which centre to allocate, and no request for change will be entertained. Also, if there are not adequate number of candidates for an exam zone or there is some unavoidable circumstance, a WBJEE 2019 exam centre may be dropped. WBJEE Eligibility Criteria

There is no prior requirement of West Bengal domicile status to apply for WBJEE 2019. Candidates only need to produce domicile certificate in order to apply for government participating institutes in case of claiming reserved category seats.

  • Candidates need to secure a minimum of 45% in 10+2 qualifying examination. The lower age limit is 17 years as on December 31, 2019.
  • There is no upper age limit to apply for WBJEE 2019.
  • For admission in Marine Engineering Course, the upper age limit is 25 years
  • There are certain institutes who have outlined additional criteria for admitting candidates to specific courses.
